DAV believes in taking care of America’s veterans—but not by taking away from other veterans. The Take Care of America’s Veterans Act includes critical priorities for veterans and their families. But Congress must not pass TCAVA at the expense of future veterans who are equally entitled to their earned benefits. Congress must remove Section 108 and then pass TCAVA.
Barrett Firearms recently held a campaign, alongside country musician artist Brantley Gilbert, to support DAV and our mission in providing life changing support to the men and women who served our country. Veteran’s benefits are earned through service and sacrifice, they are not government handouts. Congress should never try to balance the budget on the backs of disabled veterans. We should keep the promise for today’s and tomorrow’s veterans. Remove Section 108 and then pass the Take Care of America’s Veterans Act.
